Terms of service

The short version

• Noty for Mac is free and works without an account.
• Noty+ costs €2.44 a month, VAT included, and renews monthly until you cancel.
• Cancel any time. You keep Noty+ until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
• Cancel within 14 days and we refund the unused part.

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Inventure71 (run by Matteo Giorgetti, Italy) for using Noty and Noty+. Questions: [email protected].

Noty for Mac

You may use Noty for free on your own Macs. Your notes belong to you. Because they’re stored on your Mac, keeping backups is up to you.

Your Noty+ account

To buy Noty+ you need an account with a working email address. Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have a parent’s permission.

Subscription and payment

• Noty+ costs €2.44 a month, including VAT. The exact tax is shown at checkout.
• Payment is taken by Stripe when you subscribe and then once a month, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account, under Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Noty+ stays active until the end of the current period.
• If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

Refunds and your right to cancel

As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. When you subscribe, you ask us to start Noty+ straight away. If you then withdraw within 14 days of your first payment, we refund the part of the period you haven’t used.

To withdraw, email [email protected] with the email address of your account. After 14 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise or something went wrong on our side.

Fair use

Noty+ includes a monthly allowance for its online features that covers everyday personal use. If you get close to it, your account page will tell you, and it renews every month. Please don’t use Noty+ to send spam, break the law, attack our systems or resell the service.

Features and changes

Features marked “coming soon” aren’t included yet. We work to keep Noty+ available and improving, but services can occasionally be interrupted. If we remove a major paid feature, you can cancel and we’ll refund the unused part of the current period.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents it.

Liability

We are responsible for losses we cause by breaking these terms or through negligence, where you could reasonably foresee them. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protections of its consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
